01Energy-saving network equipment

The network is operated with modern, low-power network equipment, keeping its energy consumption to a minimum.

02Cooling of premises and equipment

During the warm season, the telecommunications equipment room (server room) is cooled by energy-efficient air conditioners.

During the cold season, the air conditioners are switched off and the premises and equipment are cooled by a free-air cooling system: cool outdoor air is supplied to the room, while air warmed by the equipment is exhausted outside.

This solution significantly reduces the electricity consumed for cooling.

03Solar energy

MB Profinetas operates a 1.8 kW solar power plant. The electricity it generates partly covers the company’s needs, reduces the amount of energy purchased from the grid and contributes to the conservation of natural resources.
